Joyce MacDonald is our Quality Officer. She is project manager for several
projects at a time working closely with you and your stakeholders in order
to ensure a plan is created and executed to meet your timelines,
requirements and budget. Following our Project Management process ensures
risk is minimized while maximizing the benefit to the client. Joyce handles client contact, support, test planning, testing, and requirements
gathering throughout the firm. Joyce holds a
Project Management
Professional (PMP)® Certificate in Project
Management and is a
Software Quality Management Certified Professional.
One of Joyce's long term
internal projects has been the creation and formalization of our
development process. We take on most projects as
fixed-bid phased projects with full testing and formal code release at the
end of each phase, along with written change requests. For selected clients
we take an agile approach, with full testing and formal code release at the
end of each iteration. Our demonstrated success with this approach to
development arises from the commitment we all share to
quality in software development, and the process
Joyce has developed for us, in collaboration with London Street Consulting.
Since 2005, Joyce has been an active member of the
Toronto Software Process Improvement Network.
