Wanted to Buy, Wanted a 17-18+ canoe for my family. I am in the market for a canoe and would prefer a length of 17 to 18 feet. The canoe must be in good shape (does not have to be new) and the design should be stable and less of a technical canoe. Canoes for Sale, 1939 Chestnut wood and canvas freighter canoe. This antique canoe is in good condition but needs to be recanvased. It was restored by Skywoods Canoe Co. It has a unique wine glass stern. This allows it to have a pointed end in the stern for efficient paddling, but has a transom for outboard use. I have not used an outboard on it and have only used it as a paddle canoe. It comes with a relatively new trailer. The canoe is located in Bakersfield, CA. I can be reached at (661) 663-0851. Canoes for Sale, Michigan Waterfowl Association Cedar strip canoe. Used only one year. The canoe is hand made as are the paddles which are light as a feather. It has a flat stern for mounting a small motor. Very beamy. Basket weave seats. The only flaw is the bow top is two pieces that separated and need to be refitted or I was going to replace with one piece. Otherwise it is beautiful. Buyer picks up, or arranges their own shipping.
