Canoes for Sale, 16' Chestnut Canoe "PAL" . Condition is very good. Ongoing maintenance; canvas 8 years ago, caning of rear seat 3 years ago, both outside gunnels replaced in ash 10 years ago. This boat is still used at least twice a year for extended trips. Last trip was this fall. The PAL was built to be maneuverable while carrying heavy loads and is excellent for tripping. Measures 16 x 36 x 12, 2 3/8" ribs, square brass nails, brass screws. Original owner bought in 1976.
