Did you know there is no entry for gullible in the dictionary? Really! You can check and everything!

If you needed to check, you may not get a perfect score on the McAfee phishing quiz that Roy pointed to. I managed to get 10 out of 10 - and some of them are pretty hard. Try it yourself.

I hate spam, phish mails etc. The other day I got a Nigerian-style letter from Spain. And when I say letter, I mean on paper, in an envelope. Came with cool stamps on it, which I kept. The letter, I tossed.

I believe that most of the phishing sites can be identified through it's web address. Am I Correct?

Yes, most sites you can tell by the address - you need only develop the habit of looking at it. Similarly most links in the emails give themselves away. The quiz was hard because some of the web sites had the address cropped away, and for the emails it was only a screen shot so you couldn't evaluate the links. One thing such a quiz shows is that there are often other clues beyond the URL to help you realize what you're dealing with.
