Shepherd's Pie

1 1/2 cups dehydrated hamburger, soaked for 15 minutes
2 onions chopped
1 cup mixed dried vegetables
1  pkg onion soup mix
1/2 cup dehydrated tomato soup
1 1/2 cups instant potatoes
2 Tbsp margarine
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup cheddar cheese grated
6 1/2 cups water

Add meat, soups and mixed vegetables to salted water. Bring to a boil and simmer about 30 minutes or until tender. Sauté onions in margarine and set aside. Mix instant potatoes with water as directed on package and add pepper.

Place meat and vegetables in a greased pan. Cover with potatoes and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in reflector oven until cheese is melted and pie is heated through.

If desired you could make this into a hash and heat in a frying pan.
